Yoga Journey: Bridging Science and Wellness
I hold a PhD in Biochemistry and currently work as a Molecular Biologist, combining my scientific background with a passion for understanding the intricacies of life. My journey into yoga began as a personal practice to enhance my well-being. Over time, the transformative effects of yoga sparked a deep curiosity to explore the concepts and science behind each asana. This desire led me to complete the 200-hour Inner Flow Yoga Teacher Training with Haya, a program renowned for its integration of traditional yoga wisdom and modern approaches.
The training offered a comprehensive experience, including Hatha, Kundalini, and Vinyasa yoga, as well as anatomy, physiology, Ayurveda, and meditation techniques. It emphasized personal growth, alignment, and the therapeutic potential of yoga, aligning perfectly with my scientific mindset. As a certified teacher accredited by the Yoga Alliance, I now aim to share yoga’s profound benefits with others, combining ancient practices with evidence-based insights.
About: As a scientist and yoga teacher, I am passionate about exploring the intersection of yoga and biology. I delve into the scientific research behind asanas, pranayama, and meditation, focusing on measurable physiological and biochemical changes. This dual perspective enables me to design yoga sessions that are not only transformative but also rooted in evidence-based benefits. My vision is to inspire others by integrating the wisdom of yoga with scientific insights, promoting holistic health and personal growth in my teachings.
