When registering an external partner, the following applies: Students of foreign universities, trainees, unemployed and disabled people should register in the status "Student of the MLU", all other persons in the status "Employee of the MLU". Registration in pairs is possible for this offer, but not required. Registration in pairs ensures that the couple successfully books the offer. A single registration can lead to an incomplete pair booking if the course is fully booked in the meantime. When booking in pairs, only one bank account can be specified, from which both course fees will be deducted.
Acrobatics gives us strength, a sense of balance and of aesthetics. We practice dynamic elements, static figures or build human pyramids. We focus on couple acrobatics, e.g. figures in which two people move creatively on and around each other. However, it is not required to bring a permanent partner to the course.
The introductory course is suitable for anyone who wants to try acrobatics for the first time. Basic techniques of couple and group acrobatics are taught as well as trust, body awareness and body tension to ensure safe gymnastics.
For the advanced who already have experience in pair and group acrobatics, the level of difficulty increases and the exercises become more complex. In addition, couple and group performances for various events (university sports festival, winter ball, long night of science) are planned and implemented.
The training on Tuesday is a mutual training of beginners and advanced, so that the beginners can benefit from the skills of the more experienced acrobats. This training takes place in the sports hall in Kröllwitz.
The training on Thursday is a training for advanced acrobats (at least 2 semesters or previous experience), in which after warming up together, everyone has time to themselves to deepen what they have learnd.
